A Good Salad

So yes salad, is good for you, and yes salad should be on the menu daily… but I simply can’t stand a boring lettuce and tomato salad!


A bowl with some white crunchy stuff they call lettuce with three little cherry tomatoes, two thin slices of purple onion, and three croutons is enough to turn my stomach and make me want to order a donut! I think the level of nutrition would be equal, but at least the donut would be enjoyable.

Here is the salad I made last night:
Shredded cabbage
Very well-massaged kale
2 or 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar mixed with one scoop stevia
1 or 2 sweet onions
1 package paleo-friendly bacon

Cook the bacon first and set aside, then slice your onions and saute them in the bacon grease until caramelized. Once the onions are ready, pour them and the bacon grease on your salad and mix well. Last sprinkle with bacon crumbles and salt!

Now this is a salad you will enjoy!Feel free to add another protein source and make it an entree!
