Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa

1 tbsp. dark cocoa powder
1 tbsp. coconut palm sugar
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. pure vanilla
1-1/2 cups whole milk
Whipped cream:
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. pure vanilla


In a small saucepan, whisk together cocoa powder, coconut palm sugar, salt, 1 tsp. vanilla, and milk until smooth. Heat over medium heat until piping hot, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, beat together heavy cream, honey, and remaining vanilla on high speed until thick. Serve on hot cocoa.
